Detmar Straub
The J. Mack Robinson Distinguished Professor of Information Systems at Georgia State University, Detmar has conducted research in the areas of Net-enhanced organizations (e-Commerce), information security, technological innovation, IS methodological issues, and international IT studies. He holds a DBA (Doctor of Business Administration) in MIS from Indiana and a PhD in English from Penn State. He has published 140 papers in journals such as MIS Quarterly, Management Science, Information Systems Research, Organization Science, Journal of MIS, Journal of AIS, Information & Management, Communications of the AIS, IEEE Transactions on Engineering Management, Communications of the ACM, OMEGA, Academy of Management Executive , and Sloan Management Review.
Detmar has been selected as the incoming Editor-in-Chief of MIS Quarterly, with a term starting in January of 2008. Previously he has served as Senior Editor for MIS Quarterly, Information Systems Research, Journal of the AIS (JAIS) and DATA BASE. He was also Co-Editor of DATA BASE for Advances in Information Systems. Previously, he was Associate Editor for Management Science as well as an editorial board member on a host of other journals. His consultancies with industry have been in the areas of information security, e-Commerce, and technological innovation.
He teaches masters level courses at Georgia State University in: eCommerce Strategy, IT Strategies for Management, Systems Integration and IT Outsourcing, International IT Policies and Issues, and Computer Security Management, and doctoral seminars in Quantitative Methods in IS Research, & Experimental Design.
He serves as Director of Research and Doctoral Programs in the Robinson College of Business. He is former VP of Publications for the Association for Information Systems. He was appointed AIS Fellow in 2005.

The Migration of Healthcare to E-Health
Peter Tittenberger
Director of the Learning Technologies Centre (LTC) at the University of Manitoba, Peter has led the LTC since its inception in 2005. The Learning Technologies Centre is an innovative elearning unit that provides research, software development and support, faculty training and development, and digital copyright clearance to the University of Manitoba community.
Peter has been actively involved in eLearning system administration, faculty development and support, and research for over 10 years. He has led the development of software applications including the Virtual Learning Commons and Curriculum Mapping Software as well as many database driven applications. He has presented at numerous conferences including the Canadian E-Learning Conference; Canadian Association for Distance Education (CADE) Annual Conference; Annual Conference on Distance Teaching & Learning; Ed-Media: World Conference on Educational Multimedia, Hypermedia and Telecommunications; World Library and Information Congress: 72nd IFLA General Conference and Council; Canadian Higher Education and Information Technology Conference; Beyond Boundaries Annual Conference; and WebCT users conferences.
His publications include the cover story, entitled “Conference Connections: Rewiring the Circuit” for the March/April issue of Educause Review.
Peter has delivered workshops in Africa for the Regional Aids Training Network and on Web 2.0 technologies at Al-Quds University in Bethlehem and Birzeit University in Ramallah.
Peter has a Philosophy degree from the University of Manitoba and completed post-graduate work at the University of British Columbia.
